I hope you are all staying safe and positive. Tonight the Iconic is having a Happy Hour logo sale from 8-9:59pm! No code is needed. It's time to get lots of your favourite brand's pieces for 30% off or those brands that are just slightly out of your price range. When it's sale time I usually buy pieces that are normally just a tiny bit too expensive that become affordable when it's sale time. All of my favourite pieces from the sale are below. The white Tommy Jeans shirt below is one of my most worn pieces this year.
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
I was looking on Peppermayo a couple of weeks ago and found a dress that I knew would be perfect for Autumn or Spring. I couldn't decide between the beige or the brown. That night I went back on the site to find that they were sold out. Like any determined shopper I began to search on multiple different sites like The Iconic, Verge Girl, Princess Polly and Lioness. They were all sold out! Even Lioness the brand whose design it was had already sold out of their pre-sale. Highly disappointed, I decided it was time to part ways with the hope of buying this gorgeous design. A week later and some stores have finally started restocking it! I have done the sizing search for you and some other alternative colours as well.
Autumn has begun and it is time break the rules for these seasons. Are you ready? In Summer we started to see lots of pastel greens and purples with a wave of beige. It going to be the most 2000s inspired Autumn and Spring we have seen yet. These colours seem to be transitioning perfectly for Autumn and Spring. Not to mention the 50 shades of brown which is about to take over the Autumn vibe for 2020. Say hello to pastel knits, blazers and co-ords.
My key styling suggestions for this season is pairing pastel purple with pastel green prints. Don’t be afraid to wear a lighter shades, complimented by Autumn fabrics. My second styling tip is something I have been obsessing over for the last few weeks is beige with a warm toned brown pieces.
Autumn and Spring are slowly making an appearance. This obviously means it’s time for transitional fabrics and colours. The real question is can you continue to wear white and beige in Autumn? This year the amount of white and beige Autumn and Spring pieces is incredible. I am completely on this hype train. There is everything from corduroy beige pants to white jackets. Quite frankly, I don’t see why we can’t pair Winter textures with lighter colours to give it a more natural and airy feel.
In this look I’ve styled pink satin midi dress and a white linen blazer. It gives the feel of transitioning from either a warmer month to a cold month or a colder month to a warmer month. A white linen jacket to give it a more transitional season feel. The colour and fabric of the jacket not only blurs the lines between seasons, but makes it more casual and temperature appropriate.

The 14th of February is fast approaching. This year Valentine's Day is a Friday. It's the perfect excuse for girl's night, date night or even a day to dress up and feel good showing everyone the amazing queen you are. I have put together some of my favourite Valentine's Day themed pieces. My ultimate piece below is a stunning red dress, with pockets. Yes, I said pockets! Honestly there nothing cuter than a fuller skirt dress with pockets. I am also adoring the gorgeous crop embellished with roses. The following stores also have sales at the moment.

It is time for Spring so it is time for some gorgeous Spring dresses. It wouldn't be Spring without floral. The trends of frills, midis, puffy sleeves and lace have continued into SS19/20. You might have seen me a while ago on Instagram to keep an eye out for the purple and green trend this Spring. It is now in full force and ready to add to your wardrobe. I personally prefer the lilac, but there is also an incredibly cute floral tie strap dress below that I need. One of my favourite pieces I found for this post that will suit most body shapes is the Grace Dress from Divine Avenue. It has a cross over frilled bust and a tie waist. The versatile style means you can easily dress it down with a pair of runners or dress it up with a pair of heels and a headband. The last trend I have included below is tie dye. It has finally filtered down from high end brands into more affordable pieces that appear elegant rather than tacky.
There is even one dress below that is $8.00. See if you can guess which one it is. No it's not one of the t-shirt dresses.
The weather has finally warmed up and it is time to wear cute crops and add some bolder Summer tones. The top, shorts and slides are all new additions to my wardrobe. I fell in love with the natural vibe of the cropped button up. It has been perfect for days at the beach. You may have already spotted me wearing it to the beach over on Instagram. The orange shorts make an excellent pop of colour to balance out the popular trend of neutrals this Summer. How good does the colour look?! Shop the look at the bottom of this post. There are some similar styles as well as alternatives with different price points. My favourite gold coin necklace is also on sale for $5.00 below, which is definitely worth a look.
Headbands not just a pretty accessory, it is an avenue for the illusion of a well put together outfit. The trends this season provide a sense of regal taste and stylish expression. It is undeniable headbands are all about making a statement for SS19 and AW19/20. Jewelled headbands are not a new trend, however, they now display much larger jewels and copious amounts of embellishments. Knotted/turban headbands continue to appear with bolder sizes, colours and patterns. One of my favourites perhaps is the more petite style of knotted headbands delicately adorned with small pearls. Some of my favourites of the pearl style are from Divine Avenue and there are so many different colours to choose from. The headbands themselves have also become larger. Padded headbands provide a more polished look. I will be completely honest and say padded headbands are not to my taste, however, if you are loving the trend I have also added some options below.
