Wardrobe Update: New Season Bags

There's nothing more exciting than fabulous new season pieces. Bags this season are all about elegant details and texture. The woven handbag trend has continued into larger, more structured pieces for those of you who are entering Spring. Faux animal print and a snakeskin texture adds the perfect detail to an Autumn look. As for colours black, nude and natural tones are an obvious choice, but for a pop of colour try sky blue or a bold yellow.

I hope you are having an amazing day. I think we all know the beach is my happy place. It reminds me breath, be came and just be. I love that feeling. Today's look was from a beach trip/shoot day on Saturday. Thank you so much @kelsey_gordon_ for being my photographer for the day.

I think we all know that denim is wardrobe essential. This pinafore is the perfect piece for casual transitional season looks whether you are in Spring or Autumn. It is so easy to layer with a lace crop or a pastel knit if you are in Spring. Whilst if it is Autumn try pairing it with mesh top or a mustard knit (but who are we kidding Autumn has not made an appearance yet anyway).

I hope you are having an incredible weekend. My favourite part about the weekend is that you can wear incredibly cute Summer pieces that you can't wear during the week. I know in 2016 I talked about balloon sleeves and puffy sleeves as a trend. They are back again this year, but like anything else bigger! No really, the sleeves are bigger this year. Whether you are just about to head into Spring or Autumn puffy sleeves are a must have for your transitional season wardrobe. Spring means you finally get to wear floral crops with puffy sleeves while Autumn means big sleeves making an elegant statement whilst layering. I have been waiting for some of the more affordable brands to begin stocking puffy sleeve pieces. Below I have some more affordable options with a few splurge pieces as well. Some are almost sold out, so I highly recommend getting in quickly.

The Summer Hunny Uniform

Hello everyone!
I hope you are having an amazing week. If not remember it's almost the weekend! This week I wanted to put together any easy weekend uniform look featuring linen. I was so happy when this skirt arrived, not only because it fit properly and looked how I expected, but because it was actually lined. I love the colour of the fabric and the raw edge hem. Satin and linen are a match made in heaven due to the rich textures that balance each other out perfectly. I have linked some satin cowl neck tops and linen skirts below. I have been blown away by how pigmented and how smooth the texture is. I am in love! The blush and lipstick I used in this look I have seen @emmachenartistry use many times. I hope you are all having a spectacular start to December. I have been trying to cram in as many Christmas experiences before I go on holidays. It is time for my annual Festive Season Lookbook. *happy dance* Over on Instagram you guys asked for some styling suggestions, so I will be doing a lot more talking this year to give you those suggestions rather than just pretty pictures. I tried to give this year more of an Australian theme for a little bit of Aussie pride to show you what it's like on this side of the world. It also means that there are pieces you can actually wear if Christmas day is going to be boiling hot like it is here.

Finds of the Week: Spring Transitional Season Pieces

I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. Through the spots of wonderful weather it has felt so good to wear Spring and Summer pieces. I've found lots of pieces that will help transition through to Spring and Summer. There's is nothing I am loving more than a midi skirt and dress at the moment. The satin skirts below are so amazing to dress up for Friday night or dress down with a grunge style tee for a Sunday. The black dress below would be incredible to layer with a button down shirt, particularly with a statement sleeve.
