This past weekend I attended my boyfriend's company party. While I originally struggled to find a dress for the formal occasion, this dress was party perfect--and not to mention super comfortable!
Instead of buying a dress that I probably wouldn't wear very often, I decided to rent this beauty from Rent the Runway. If you aren't familiar with how the site works, you are able to rent designer dresses for such a cheap price! They will also send you two different sizes, which is awesome if you are unsure of what size to get.
The dress I am wearing is the Fifi Dress designed by Slate & Willow. While this dress retails for $308, I rented this stunning dress for only $50.
I was extremely happy with how this dress fit me as well as how beautiful the detailing was. The gold under-layer of the dress was just enough to make the dress pop without being overwhelming. I completed this look with black tights and heeled booties.
This champagne/rose gold colored clutch from Express was a perfect addition to the look. I don't get to use this clutch often, so I absolutely love that it went well with this outfit.
For jewelry, I kept it simple with these elegant rose gold earrings from Ori Jewels and this rose gold bow bracelet designed by Kate Spade.
As for my nail color, I love this deep burgundy color, "In the Cable Car-Pool Lane" by OPI. Although my nails weren't the main focal point of the night, this nail polish was the perfect hint of color to my overall look.
This look wasn't at all what I originally planned on wearing when I began to look for dresses for this event--however, I must say I ended up really loving it. Not only was it appropriate for the event, but also it was a fun, classic look for the holidays. (Disclaimer: This is NOT a sponsored post. All thoughts are and always will be my own.)
