Hello beautifuls!
I hope you're having a wonderful week. It's time for a little festive inspiration with an Advent/Christmas countdown calendar. Below there is a free printable with activities for the days leading up to Christmas.
You will need:
First of all, you'll need to make 24 little envelopes, one for each day of your calendar. Cut out 10 x 10 cm squares of paper. Fold two opposite corners to meet at the centre like the diagram below. Then fold the bottom corner up and fold its point down. Use tape secure the envelope in place.
Write the numbers 1 to 24, each on a different envelope. Cut out each of the days from the free printable above. This printable is editable, so you can rearrange the days or change some of the activities if you wish. Fill each envelope with their corresponding day activity and sequins. Fold closed to secure in place.
Cut 24 pieces of fishing line of different lengths. Attach the string using tape to the back lower part of the envelope, with the length of the string facing towards the top. Only tape the lower part to make sure you will be able to open the envelope later. Attach leaves using glue. However, if you are using material leaves and you would like to use them again, use double sided tape. To make it look more diverse I've taped the leaves in different places.
Hang and arrange each piece of fishing line along the top of the door with the envelope hanging below. Use blu-tak to attach the fishing line to the door. To make it look fuller I've added extra leaves along the fishing line and attached them using double sided tape.
