Elevated Basics

Hello beautifuls!
No wardrobe is complete without basics. The basics you chose for your wardrobe need to translate perfectly with the change of seasons and styles. When I'm looking for pieces for my wardrobe I always ask myself how many times I think I'll wear it and how long I think it will last. Basics are usually worn even more than your typical pieces. I don't know about you, but I don't want something that is going to fall apart in two months. At the same time I also want it to be affordable. A couple of weeks ago I found two tops from Dissh (not an ad).  

This top is the perfect elevated basic. The off the shoulder look, ribbed fabric and extra detailing makes sure my outfits never look boring. Not to mention it pairs perfectly with black strappy heels. As the fabric is black it means it will be a versatile and timeless piece. I've linked both of these tops in a variety of colours at the bottom of this post.​

The second top is also a ribbed fabric but this time in cream. It has a gorgeous necklace that pairs easily with any shorter style of necklace. I personally think bold gold jewellery with this top will create a signature look. The split cuffs are another favourite of this piece. It creates subtle detailing for any look.​
