Hello beautifuls!
I hope you are all having a fabulous week. From petite faux suede skirts, snake patterned neckerchiefs, to embroidered mesh, this post will show you what your wardrobe needs and where to buy them. You'll also have a sneak peak into this week's Shop the Trend.

Missguided Faux Leather Mini Skirt Blue
A coloured high waisted midi skirt in either faux suede or leather is a great addition to any wardrobe. If you're currently in Summer, or just about to move into Spring these are worthwhile basic pieces. You can add that extra pop of colour and texture to a look with ease. Pair with soft outer fabrics, like a duster coat, then add a patterned top and a pair of suede ankle boots. If you'd prefer a patterned mini skirt, try the faux snakeskin skirt below. I must admit, I am becoming rather in love with snakeskin fabrics.

Topshop Snake Patterned Neckerchief
If you're loving snakeskin patterns as much as I am currently, you'll adore this neckerchief from Topshop. The multiple colours throughout make it easier to style. The snakeskin pattern also helps to add texture and interest to a look. I would recommend pairing it with the darker colours in the pattern, such as black and browns. Style it with black shirts that create a v-shape, such as a chiffon strappy singlet or a button up blouse. It is essential to pair the shape of your neckwear with your neckline. Need to get your hands on more snakeskin pieces? Later this week will be a Shop the Trend post dedicated to snakeskin pieces (faux only, don't worry).

Topshop Embroidered Mesh Crop Top
Embroidered pieces can create an effortlessly feminine look, especially when sewn on chiffon or mesh. This all black crop top from Topshop is definitely my favourite I have found so far. When determining how to style this top, it will definitely depend on your personal style and how brave you are. Personally, I like feeling comfortable and confident when wearing crop tops. Pair this crop top with a cropped high-rise singlet, a pleated high waisted black skirt, statement rose gold earrings, a rose gold clutch and pair of lace up heels.

This two toned crepe a-line skirt from Topshop is another must have basic wardrobe piece. Its simplicity makes it easy to style and versatile, but the fabric contrast also creates that perfect 'put together look'. The key to styling this piece is pairing it with a navy blue shirt; a crossover crop top would be perfect.

Carvela Kurt Geiger LIZARD heels
It wouldn't be 'Finds of the Week' without a gorgeous pair of heels to lust over. These heels from Carvela Kurt Geiger will make the perfect shoes for the fast-approaching Valentine's Day. Their soft colour and texture, with holographic straps, create a formal look with a dash of fun. Having a 'Galentine's Day' this year? Why not treat yourself to a fabulous pair of heels? I know wearing a new pair of heels always makes me feel happy and confident.

If you'd like to opt for a pair that won't break your bank so much; try these heels below from Public Desire. Their plain black lace-up design helps to pair it with almost anything; making them a versatile wardrobe piece. The pom poms at the end of the straps helps to continue the look of elegance, whilst adding something extra to the current trend of lace up heels. I must say, these heels are incredibly on point. No pun intended. Pair both of these heels with a black tailored dress, simple jewellery and a matching coloured clutch continue the air of elegance.
