There's a reason that sequins are loved for New Years Eve, because they make a statement and they look damn good. Obviously each year they are styled and added to pieces in a different way. It doesn't mean you have to wear a whole outfit of sequins, but if you feel confident enough to do so - OWN IT! Sequined tops can easily be styled with a leather skirt, sequined skirts are made to be styled with bodysuits. Satin
Satin always looks so elegant. One of my favourite trends for 2018 has been the satin cowl neck top, because it is just so easy to style and looks amazing. These tops are perfect with a pair of jeans, linen shorts, a satin midi skirt, a leather skirt or even a sequined skirt for New Years Eve. Slip dresses are also perfect for New Years Eve because they suit so many different body types. They're a safe option, easy to style and look stunning. If you want to create more shape add a black belt that matches to the hardware of your other accessories. Keeping the hardware consistent always makes a look so much more put together. If you are going to be dancing all night and it is going to be hot I definitely recommend choosing a darker fabric if you know what I mean... Tassels are another trend that just looks so good. I have chosen the set above for my New Years Eve look. I am loving the white to make me look just that bit more tanned. I am going to be completely honest here: The best reason to wear tasselled pieces is because they are so much fun to wear. You really have to wear it to understand the level I am talking about.
